Championship Conditions
2010 ACU Dunlop Suzuki GSX-R Trophy Conditions
1. Announcement
The ACU in conjunction with the organising clubs will organise a 12 round series of races to be known as the 2010 ACU Suzuki GSX-R 600 Trophy as set out below:
27/28th March, Snetterton, BMCRC, 2 rounds
29/31st May, Pembrey, NG Racing, 3 rounds (3 day meeting)
12/13th June, Snetterton, NG Racing, 1 round
3/4th July, Cadwell Park, Derby Phoenix, 2 rounds
24th/25th July, Anglesey, Wirral 100, 2 rounds
4th September, Castle Combe, New Era MCC, 1 round
23rd October, Silverstone, NG Racing, 1 round

3. Race Secretariat
The Race Secretary for each event will be as per the Supplementary Regulations issued by the Event Organisers.
4. Jurisdiction
The meetings will be held under the National Sporting Code and Standing Regulations of the A.C.U. 2010 edition, these Championship Conditions, the Supplementary Regulations for the meetings and any further Instructions Issued or Official Announcements made.
5. Officials
All Race Day officials will be provided by the organising clubs and will be listed in the Supplementary Regulations for the individual events.
6. Championship Decals
Championship Decals will be provided by the ACU. These must appear on the areas of the machine in accordance with the Decal plan supplied to each rider and available from the ACU Road Race Dept. All Decals will be provided by the ACU, with the exception of the Official GSX-R Logo, which can be obtained from any Franchised Suzuki Dealer.
A sanction will be imposed by the Race Direction on any Competitor failing to comply.
7. Eligibility
1. Rider
Open to any rider who holds a Road Race Licecnce issued by the ACU,SACU, or MCUI. Competitors who hold an MCUI Licence must also produce Start Permission that includes Insurance to FIM Standards. Riders must be at least 16 years of age at 01.03.10 and comply with the licence restrictions in the 2010 ACU Handbook.
All riders must have their Registration “approved “by a Supporting Franchised Suzuki Dealer who will be listed on all entries as the “Supporting Dealer”

Open to any Suzuki GSX-R 600 K7 to K10
8. Registration
The Registration Form, must be completed and returned to the ACU Championship Co-ordinator at Rugby, along with the Registration Fee of £150.00. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
The ACU Championship Co-ordinator will issue entry Forms and Supplementary Regulations to all registered riders, as they become available.
The ACU will reserve a Riding Number for each rider for the Series. All such number allocations are at the entire discretion of the ACU who retain the right to re-allocate any number at any time.
Admission Passes to the Championship Rounds will be issued separately with the Final Instructions for each event.
Any additional passes required must be purchased from the individual organisers.
9. Entries
Entries must be made on the official form, for each round, and sent to the appropriate Race Secretary to arrive by the closing date stated on each form.
Entry Forms received incomplete or without the full Entry Fee will be returned
Entry Forms sent by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
10. Insurance
The Organisers of each round undertake to insure each competitor, indemnifying him against any third party claim made, arising out of the official practice and races excluding claims by other competitors, entrants, sponsors or mechanics.
11. Technical Inspections
All competitors must have a fully charged AMB Tranx 260 transponder (or a directly compatible equivalent), as registered on the Entry Form, fitted to their machine.
All competitors must present their machines and clothing for pre – race inspection as required by the Supplementary Regulations for each event.
A post-race inspection will be carried out and competitors must proceed to the Parc Ferme as directed at the end of the race. Parc Ferme will last for 30 minutes from the end of the race. Failure to report to Parc Ferme will result in a sanction by Race Direction.
12. Fuel
All fuel used must comply with ACU 2010 Standing Regulations.
13. Medical
Competitors must undertake a test for alcohol or drugs if selected. Race Direction will exclude any competitor who refuses to take such a test.

15. Championship Title
The title of the Championship will appear in the Programme and all advertising for the event. Nothing is to appear in bigger type for the qualifying rounds. The Championship title will be:

16. Awards
The Championship points at each round will be as follows:
To the Winner: 25 Points
Second 20 Points
Third 16 Points
Fourth 13 Points

There will be a Trophy for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed riders at each round.
Additional Awards
There will be two additional awards at each Championship round:
Express Insurance Top Gun Award.
This will be awarded to the highest place Novice Licence finisher at each round. To qualify for this award, riders must not have completed more than 10 events at 3 circuits and must wear their orange Novice Jacket during the race.
Monster Energy Rider of the Day Award
A case of Monster Energy Drink to be awarded to the Rider of the Day, as identified by the Circuit Commentator at each round.
Annual Awards
The Championship will be decided on points as detailed in 16 above. The riders with the most points after the final round of the Championships will receive:

Second £500
Third £250
17. TIES
If at the end of the Championship there is a tie on points the winner will be the highest points scorer with the most number of race wins. If there is still a tie the winner will be the highest points scorer with the highest placed finish in the final round.
